Post 16 Centre at Reading Girls' School
Due to financial constraints Reading Girls’ School have decided to take over the management of the Post 16 Centre at the end of the academic year.
Both Reading College and Reading Girls’ School are committed to working together to ensure that the students studying presently at the centre are able to complete their studies and make appropriate choices for the following academic year.
The rationale behind the centre remains unchanged and further information will be available from the Centre in due course.
The Centre opened in 2009 and already has good results, with its first cohort of students achieving a 100 per cent pass rate on vocational programmes.
Its approach is to provide excellent teaching with a high level of individual support to develop and nurture students and encourage them to achieve their best. The experienced and highly dedicated teachers work hard to develop students’ personal and workplace skills so they can move on to a higher level course or into employment.
Whether you’re progressing from school or thinking of returning to education, this Centre will be the perfect place to start. In the meantime browse these pages to find out more about us.
