What support will I get?

While you study here at Reading College, we will support you every step of the way:

English courses: if English is not your first language, our extra courses will help you both in and out of the classroom.

Tutorial support: you will have an individual learning plan to track and review your academic progress.

Mentoring: we provide a mentor service for all our students. Mentors are students like you who want to help other students with things like coursework and making friends.

Careers guidance: our Activate Careers team can help plan your progression to university or work and can also offer guidance on part time work (subject to visa restrictions).

Counselling: if you need to talk to someone in confidence, our counsellor will ensure that you have all the support you need to be healthy and safe.

Welfare and visas: help is available through our International team.

Faith support: available for all students, regardless of faith and there is a quiet/prayer room you can use.

Disability support: we have a range of services supporting students with disabilities.
