Laura Farrow from South Central Ambulance Service visited Reading College on Thursday to talk to both Health & Social Care and Public Service students about the different jobs within the Ambulance service. Her talk also covered the misuse of 999 calls.
This is the second visit by SCAS as Laura visited City of Oxford College last month to talk to Health and Social Care students.
Laura also met with Activate Careers to update them on Career opportunities within the Ambulance Service.
Christine King, Group Employability Adviser said, ‘The visits have been so successful that we are already planning the next one, an ‘Ambulance Day’ at Reading College in October’.
