Last year, public services students at Reading College benefited from the donation of two sets of Kevlar Vests from SafeGuard Armour, the company which supplies them to the police force.
These vests have used with the public services students for the purposes of training and development. The donation had an amazing impact on the students, who were learning with even more enthusiasm; exploring new possibilities through role plays, explaining emergency response processes and health and safety measures.
Recently, the college has taken delivery of a further donation of Kevlar Vests from SafeGuard Armour.
Salwa Boon, Head of Learning for Public Services, said: “I would like to thank SafeGuard Armour for the positive impact of these donations on students’ training and development. This second donation means even more students will have the opportunity to use industry standard equipment which they may be using in their future careers.”
