Karcher Accumulator Challenge Awards

Activate Learning students picked up awards at this week’s Karcher Accumulator Challenge Awards.

The business students, from Banbury, Oxford and Reading, competed in this prestigious competition over a four month period. The objective of the competition was to complete entrepreneurial activities which made a profit from £50 seed funding. This helped our students develop a number of attributes, including enterprising and professional, and skills (including teamwork and communication skills.)

The Karcher Accumulator Challenge, which has been running since 2014, has raised over £25K for Katharine House Hospice. The charity provides specialist palliative care for adults with life limiting conditions across North Oxfordshire, South Northamptonshire and South Warwickshire.

Activate Learning won Most money raised by a college Award, and the Most creative idea Award. All profits raised (£2,156) were handed over to Katharine House Hospice.

Well done to everyone who took part, especially to our winners.
