If you need to improve your English and Maths, your skills for work or study, then these are the courses for you. These are free courses for adults and you can study during the day or in the evening.

You don't need any qualifications and after an initial assessment, we will place you in the right class for you.

Classes are small and the level of individual support is high and you will work towards a recognised qualification.

Access to Education

Access to Education is a one year programme for returners to education who are not yet at the level for the Access to Higher Education programme and would benefit from extra work on their English, Maths and study skills.

Additional Learning Support

Learning Skills supports students on courses in other teaching departments through the development of functional skills in English, Maths and IT and by providing Additional Learning Support to help students achieve on their main course.

Disability Support

The Disability Team provides support for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
