Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are one of the most traditional forms of vocational training available across all industry sectors and are an excellent way of gaining nationally recognised qualifications whilst working and gaining real workplace experience. As an apprentice, you can earn as you learn.

Currently over 300 people, of all ages, are participating within an Apprenticeship programme with Reading College and these are associated with nearly 150 separate employers, primarily across Reading and the Thames Valley.

Reading College is one of the the largest providers of Apprenticeships across Reading and the Thames Valley and regularly produces high success rates, well in advance of national average performance. Employer satisfaction, measured regularly by our Employer Services team, also rates Reading College’s Apprenticeship programmes highly.

Any Apprenticeship vacancies that the college is aware of will be advertised on the National Apprenticeship Service vacancies website National Apprenticeship Service vacancies website.
